ANY IDEA WHAT IT’S LIKE TO BE AN ONLY CHILD?

IT TURNS YOU INTO A LIVEWIRE.

Livewire is an absurd, moving and vibrant hour of physical comedy and clown, derived from Jody’s experiences of being an only child.

Livewire has been deftly pieced together with the direction of Ana Esmith (Ecole Philippe Gaulier) to create a show full of stupidity. Jody is a regular on the alternative comedy and cabaret circuit in London. Livewire is his 7th fringe show.

4:45pm, 1 – 25 August, Laughing Horse @ Bar 50, 50 Blackfriers St, EH1.

AZ Backpacking

A – Z of Backpacking

Aussies, long bumpy bus journeys, Germans, hostels, Americans, Lonely Planet, backpacks, hippies, tours, gap year, Israelis, TripAdvisor. Jody Kamali delivers an animated guide to backpacking through his eight years of solo travelling around the globe. Bringing to life his experiences through characterisation and acute observation, he explores why people go travelling; the types of travellers you would meet; hostel etiquette; the pains of bus, train and airplane journeys; the high’s and lows  ‘The Clown Prince of Persia’ (Edinburgh Evening News). ‘Indispensable and hilarious’ (TNT Magazine)

8:30pm, Laughing Horse @ Bar 50, 50 Blackfriers St, Edinburgh
